Facilitating relationships and ministries among Mennonite Brethren National Churches ("conferences").
Everywhere to everywhere networking, learning, and resourcing
The International Confession of Faith guides our deliberations, actions, and shapes our ethic and character
Everyone has a gift and we value everyone’s gifts
ICOMB began in 1990 as a “committee” of MB Mission to gather representatives of established National Churches to report and be encouraged. Today there are 21 member Churches located in 19 countries, and more seek to join. This tells us that the global Mennonite Brethren family is growing as church planting all over the world results in maturing National Churches (conferences of many local churches). ICOMB is now called “International Community of Mennonite Brethren”.
ICOMB is becoming an authoritative international body that informs the development of our global family/movement. One critical factor is the International Confession of Faith which both reflects existing historical confessions in older National Churches, and projects forward as the Confession of newer National Churches.
