Mennonite Brethren Seminary (MBS) Canada exists to educate and equip men and women who will help lead the church to reach Canada and the world with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Seminary education for the Canadian Mennonite Brethren Conference (CCMBC) began over forty years ago in Fresno, California. In 1975, CCMBC became co-owners of the Fresno campus and since then over 400 Canadian students have been directly impacted by graduate theological education. Campuses in Langley (ACTS Seminaries) and Winnipeg (CMU) were started in 1999 in an effort to make seminary education more accessible for Canadians. In 2011 Mennonite Brethren Seminary Canada (MBS Canada) became independent from the Fresno campus as a "New Kind of Seminary" for the Canadian context. Offering ten degree programs and a variety of non-formal educational opportunities, MBS Canada is perfectly situated to meet the training and equipping needs of MB Churches for the mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
